Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Twins managed just five hits in an 11-0 loss to the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday at Comerica Park.
Royce Lewis was the only Twins batter with multiple base hits on the night. Starter Zebby Matthews took the loss — his fourth of the season — after giving up seven runs on nine hits over six innings.
The Twins remain in third place in the American League Central with a 31-39 record.
Minnesota looks to bounce back tonight as Joe Ryan takes the mound against the Cardinals.
