Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Twins ended a three-game losing streak with a 6-4 win over the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park.
Byron Buxton delivered the decisive swing, hitting a three-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put Minnesota ahead for good. Royce Lewis also went deep in the victory.
Taylor Rogers picked up his second win of the season out of the bullpen.
The win evens the series at a game apiece. Zebby Matthews is slated to start for Minnesota today, while Keider Montero is on the mound for the Tigers. First pitch is at 12:10PM.
