Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Twins managed just five hits in an 8-0 loss to the Chicago White Sox at Target Field.
Chicago jumped out early, scoring four runs in the top of the first inning and holding the lead the rest of the way. Starter Taj Bradley was charged with his second loss of the season after allowing four runs on seven hits over four and two-thirds innings.
The defeat drops Minnesota to 29-34 and keeps the club in third place in the AL Central.
The Twins look to bounce back tonight, sending Andrew Morris to the mound against the Kansas City Royals.
In other team news, Minnesota traded right-hander Simeon Woods Richardson to the Toronto Blue Jays for cash considerations yesterday.
