Byron Buxton and Kody Clemens both homered in the losing effort, accounting for Minnesota’s only runs of the night.
Connor Prielipp was charged with his third loss of the season after giving up six runs on eight hits over four-and-a-third innings.
The Twins fall to third place in the AL Central with a 27-29 record.
Minnesota sends Kendry Rojas to the mound today as the club looks to avoid further damage against Chicago.
