Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The U.S. Supreme Court is allowing Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores’ racial discrimination lawsuit against the NFL to move forward in open court.
Justices on Tuesday rejected the league’s request to force the case into arbitration overseen by Commissioner Roger Goodell.
Flores sued the NFL, the Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, and New York Giants in 2022, alleging systemic racism in the league’s coaching and hiring practices.
NFL officials say the league is prepared to defend itself as the case continues.
