Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Wild could be without one of their goaltenders to start the 2026-27 season.
General manager Bill Guerin announced Filip Gustavsson will undergo hip surgery in the near future. The team has not said whether Gustavsson will be ready for the start of the regular season.
Gustavsson opened last season as Minnesota’s number-one goaltender before Jesper Wallstedt took over the starting role late in the year.
