Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Timberwolves have a chance to close out their first-round playoff series against the Denver Nuggets on their home floor tonight.
Minnesota leads the best-of-seven series 3-2 after dropping Game 5 in Denver 125-113 on Monday. The Wolves took both Game 3 and Game 4 at the Target Center last week, winning each by 17 points before the series shifted back to Denver.
Tip-off for Game 6 is set for 8:30 p.m. at the Target Center. A Minnesota win would send the sixth-seeded Wolves to the Western Conference Semifinals against the second-seeded San Antonio Spurs. A Denver win would force a deciding Game 7 on Saturday in Denver.
