Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Timberwolves have their first series lead of the first round of the NBA Playoffs after a dominant performance at Target Center.
The Wolves beat the Denver Nuggets 113-96 in Game 3, never trailing in the contest and building a lead as large as 27 points in the third quarter.
Ayo Dosunmu led Minnesota with 25 points off the bench. Jaden McDaniels added 20 points and 10 rebounds.
The Timberwolves now lead the best-of-seven series 2-1.
Game 4 is Saturday night at Target Center.
