Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Wild squandered a third-period lead Thursday night in a 5-4 loss to the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center.
Minnesota carried a one-goal advantage into the final frame, but Dallas answered with goals from Mikko Rantanen and Jason Robertson to take the lead for good.
Kirill Kaprizov scored twice for the Wild in the losing effort. Ryan Hartman and Quinn Hughes also found the back of the net.
The loss leaves Minnesota in third place in the Central Division with 102 points. The Wild visit the Nashville Predators tomorrow.
