Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Twins capped a four-game sweep of the Detroit Tigers at Target Field, rallying late for the win.
Brooks Lee delivered a two-run single in the bottom of the eighth inning to put Minnesota ahead for good. Josh Bell added a home run in the victory, while reliever Garrett Acton picked up the win.
The Twins improve to 7-6 on the season. Minnesota opens a new series tonight against the Toronto Blue Jays, with Simeon Woods Richardson on the mound.
