Timberwolves Look to Bounce Back in Detroit

Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Timberwolves head to Little Caesars Arena Thursday night to take on the Detroit Pistons, looking to rebound after dropping their last meeting with this same opponent.

Minnesota arrives in Detroit riding a wave of momentum from Monday’s dominant 124-94 road victory over the Dallas Mavericks but will need to shake off the memory of their last trip to face the Pistons — a 109-87 loss on March 28th. The Wolves hold a 46-29 record, good for third place in the Western Conference.

Standing in their way is a Pistons squad that has been one of the NBA’s biggest stories this season. Detroit sits atop the Eastern Conference at 55-21, the best record in the conference and second-best in the league behind only the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Pistons will enter tonight’s contest as slight favorites.
