Timberwolves Head to Detroit for Rematch with Pistons

Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Timberwolves will look to settle the score Thursday night when they travel to Little Caesars Arena to take on the Detroit Pistons, with tip-off set for 6:00 PM.

Minnesota arrives riding a wave of momentum after a dominant 124-94 road victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday, a performance that helped the Wolves maintain their grip on the third seed in the Western Conference at 46-29.

The rematch angle adds extra intrigue. Detroit handed Minnesota a 109-87 beatdown at Target Center just last Saturday, a lopsided home loss the Wolves will certainly be looking to avenge. The task won’t be easy — the Pistons are the top seed in the Eastern Conference this season at 55-21, making them one of the best teams in the NBA.
