Lakes Country Healthcare, a new locally owned clinic, is offering another healthcare option for residents and visitors in the Lakes Country area.
The direct-pay clinic provides services such as urgent care, hormone optimization, and weight management. Its goal is to offer convenient, transparent, and high-quality care without the higher costs often associated with traditional healthcare visits. Patients know the cost upfront, with no surprise bills.
The clinic also offers extended morning, evening, and weekend hours, giving patients another option for non-life-threatening concerns instead of visiting the emergency room.
Lakes Country Healthcare is operated by Ashley Schultz, a physician assistant with seven years of experience in family medicine, urgent care, and emergency medicine. Schultz says, “Having grown up in the Lakes Country area, it means so much to now care for the community that helped shape me. Living and working here gives me a deep understanding of the needs of local families, and I’m passionate about providing accessible, straightforward healthcare people can trust.”
The clinic’s mission is simple: helping people feel better so they can live better.
Lakes Country Healthcare will host an open house Wednesday, April 15th from 3 to 7 p.m. at its clinic location – 920 McKinley Avenue in Detroit Lakes.
