Timberwolves Look to Bounce Back Against Trail Blazers in Portland

Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Timberwolves will look to get back on track Tuesday night when they travel to Portland to take on the Trail Blazers at Moda Center. Tip-off is set for 9:00 p.m.

Minnesota enters the contest on the heels of a rough 135-108 defeat to the Philadelphia 76ers at home on Sunday, a game that wasn’t particularly close from start to finish. The Wolves, who sit sixth in the Western Conference at 35-23, will be eager to regroup on the road.

The matchup should offer a favorable opportunity to do so. According to win probability models, Minnesota enters as a heavy favorite, with Portland given just a 30.7% chance of pulling off the upset. The Blazers have struggled for much of the season and remain one of the weaker teams in the Western Conference.

For the Timberwolves, getting back into rhythm and avoiding a back-to-back letdown will be the key storylines to watch tonight.
