Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Lynx are getting ready to defend their place among the WNBA’s elite, and fans will get their first look at this year’s squad soon.
The team released its preseason schedule this week, revealing a three-game exhibition slate that kicks off on April 25th.
Minnesota will face the Washington Mystics, the Nigeria Women’s National Team, and the Toronto Tempo during the preseason stretch, which wraps up on May 1st. The matchup against the Nigeria Women’s National Team adds a compelling international element to the exhibition schedule, while the game against the Toronto Tempo, one of the WNBA’s newest franchises, is sure to draw plenty of interest as the young organization continues to find its footing in the league.
