A Frazee Care Center employee is being recognized for her dedication to residents and commitment to quality senior care.

Kali Schlosser, a social services designee at Frazee Care Center, has been named the 2026 Stars Among Us District C Caregiver of the Year by LeadingAge Minnesota. The award honors caregivers in older adult services who go above and beyond to enhance the quality of life for seniors

Schlosser began her career at Frazee Care Center in 2021 as a certified nursing assistant in training. After earning her CNA license, she went on to become a trained medication aide before transitioning into her current role in social services. Along the way, she has taken on a wide range of responsibilities, from hands-on resident care and assisting with activities to helping with dietary services, housekeeping and supply management.

“I greatly appreciate this honor,” Schlosser said in a statement. “My team members and I are devoted to providing our residents and families with the best senior care and services possible. It’s a pleasure to bring smiles to our residents’ faces and help them live their best lives.”

Frazee Care Center Care Community Director Dawn Eckert said Schlosser’s impact is felt throughout the facility.

“Kali pours her entire self into Frazee Care Center,” Eckert said. “Her passion for providing not just care, but a true home for every resident, is evident in every interaction. She represents the very best of long-term care in Minnesota.”

Frazee Care Center has served the Frazee and Vergas area since 1971, offering long-term care, short-term rehabilitation and assisted living services. The facility is managed by Health Dimensions Group, a Minnesota-based senior living management and consulting organization.

LeadingAge Minnesota presents its Caregiver of the Year awards annually to recognize exceptional caregivers across the state who demonstrate compassion, professionalism and dedication to older adults.
