Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Timberwolves snapped a two-decade losing streak in Toronto on Wednesday night, rallying from 18 points down to edge the Raptors 128-126 at Scotiabank Arena.

The victory marked Minnesota’s first win in Toronto since 2004, ending a 21-year drought in one of the NBA’s toughest road venues.

Anthony Edwards led the comeback charge with a game-high 30 points, showcasing the explosive scoring ability that has made him one of the league’s rising stars. The Timberwolves received crucial bench production from Bone Hyland, who contributed 20 points in a reserve role.

Minnesota trailed by 18 points in the third quarter before mounting their furious rally, outscoring Toronto down the stretch to secure the narrow two-point victory.

The win improves the Timberwolves to 32-20 on the season.

Minnesota will look to build on the momentum when they return home to face the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night.
