The White Earth Tribal Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred Saturday evening, December 13, outside the Kings Corner Bar in Mahnomen.
According to authorities, officers and emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the scene after receiving a report of a stabbing. Despite life-saving efforts, a 24-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
Police say the incident happened during the evening hours and remains under active investigation.
The White Earth Police Department has identified a person of interest as Dayami Clark, 23, of the Naytahwaush area. Investigators are seeking information that could lead to Clark’s location and apprehension.
A monetary reward has been authorized for tips that result in Clark being located. Police warn that anyone found to be aiding or harboring Clark could face prosecution.
