Vikings Suffer Embarrassing Shutout Loss in Seattle

Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Vikings suffered their most embarrassing defeat of the season Sunday, falling 26-0 to the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field.

The Purple were shut out for the first time since 2007, marking a dark day in franchise history. The offense sputtered throughout the contest, turning the ball over five times and failing to generate any momentum against a fired-up Seahawks defense.

Rookie quarterback Max Brosmer endured a nightmare in his first NFL start, completing passes for just 126 yards while throwing four interceptions. The young signal-caller looked overwhelmed by the moment, struggling with accuracy and decision-making as Seattle’s secondary feasted on his mistakes.

The loss drops Minnesota to 4-8 on the season, placing them in the basement of the NFC North division.

The Vikings will look to rebound when they return home to face the Washington Commanders on Sunday.
