Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Wild will try to halt a three-game skid when they welcome the Winnipeg Jets to Grand Casino Arena on Tuesday night.
Minnesota (8 points) is mired in their worst stretch of the season, coming off a heartbreaking 6-5 overtime defeat to the San Jose Sharks on Sunday. The Wild have struggled defensively during their losing streak while trying to find consistency on both ends of the ice.
Currently sitting in seventh place in the Central Division, the Wild face a crucial test against a divisional opponent as they attempt to climb back into playoff contention. The team will need to tighten up their defensive play after allowing six goals in their most recent outing.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 PM CT at Grand Casino Arena.
