Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Lynx are moving on to the WNBA Semifinals after a dramatic come-from-behind victory over the Golden State Valkyries last night. The Lynx overcame a 17-point deficit to defeat Golden State 75-74 in Game Two of the First Round at Chase Center in San Francisco.
Minnesota’s fourth-quarter surge proved to be the difference maker, as they outscored the Valkyries 26-11 in the final period to complete the stunning comeback. Star forward Napheesa Collier led the charge for the Lynx, pouring in a game-high 24 points to power Minnesota’s victory.
The win advances the Lynx to the next round, where they’ll await the winner of the series between the New York Liberty and Phoenix Mercury.
