Lynx Dominate Fever Behind Collier’s Strong Return

Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – Napheesa Collier made a triumphant comeback Sunday night, scoring 32 points and grabbing nine rebounds to lead the Minnesota Lynx to a 97-84 victory over the Indiana Fever.

The star forward had been out for seven games with an ankle injury she suffered on August 2nd against Las Vegas. Before getting hurt, Collier was the frontrunner for WNBA MVP.

Rookie of the year Caitlin Clark missed her 15th straight game with a groin injury. She’s now missed 24 of Indiana’s 37 games this season due to various injuries.

The Lynx’s next game is against the Seattle Storm when they come to town on Thursday. Tipoff is at 7:00 p.m.
