(Campbell, MN) — Authorities in Wilkin County say a man was rescued Monday afternoon after being trapped in a grain bin for more than an hour. The sheriff’s office says the man had already been trapped for about 30 minutes before he was able to call for help.
He was submerged in corn up to his waist and reported experiencing leg pain. His son worked quickly to shovel corn away from him while waiting for emergency personnel to arrive. First responders used specialized grain bin rescue equipment to safely extract the man from the center of the bin.
No additional details about his condition have been released.
