DL Gets a New Minnesota DNR K9 Team

Detroit Lakes is included in new DNR K9 Units handler teams. The Minnesota D-N-R’s K-9 Unit is welcoming four new dogs and their handlers. Officials say the new teams will enhance the agency’s ability to detect aquatic invasive species, locate individuals, identify potential game and fish violations, and support local law enforcement.

Officer Jake Swedberg and K-9 Axel are based in Detroit Lakes. Conservation Officer Cassie Block and K-9 Jet will be stationed in Two Harbors, Officer Dustin Roemeling and K-9 Cora are in Worthington, Officer Annett Schlag and K-9 Trapper are stationed in Rochester.
