New York Mills, MN – Multiple New York Mills businesses are out of a home following a building fire early this morning.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to a structure fire southeast of the city of New York Mills at about 1:30 a.m. and arrived at a large building engulfed in flames. The fire departments of New York Mills, Bluffton, and Deer Creek responded to the scene and fought the fire.
Deputies say the building contained multiple businesses, all of which appear to be a total loss. No injuries were reported from the fire.
The origin of the fire is not known and is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office and the State Fire Marshall’s Office.
