A familiar face to many in the Lakes Area has received statewide recognition.
Terry Eiter, a former Detroit Lakes High School staff member, was honored Saturday at the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) State Basketball Tournament for his distinguished service as a football and basketball official.
Eiter has long been recognized not just for his consistency and professionalism on the court and field, but also for his leadership behind the scenes. He serves as both a clinician and scheduler for Lakes Area Officials, helping train and organize crews across the region in both sports.
His contributions have impacted countless student-athletes and communities, reinforcing values of sportsmanship, fairness, and integrity.
