Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach is running for re-election as the Seventh District Representative. In her announcement, Fischbach described the current political climate as a “new day in Washington, D.C.,” and praised the progress made under Republican leadership and the “America First” agenda.
Fischbach, now serving her third term, highlighted her efforts to cut federal spending, roll back regulations, and defend individual rights. “We have been given an opportunity by voters to do the things that are needed to save our great nation,” she said. “I launched my campaign in 2020 to push for stronger rural communities. We’re seeing these priorities being put into action, and I want to continue working as the advocate for western Minnesota.”
Fischbach was re-elected in November. In February, Wadena Democrat Erik Osberg announced his candidacy for the Seventh District seat.
