High School Students Invited to Enter Congressional Art Competition

By Trish Johnson Mar 17, 2025 | 7:04 AM

Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach is encouraging high school students in her district to showcase their artistic talents through the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. The nationwide contest, sponsored by the Congressional Institute, has highlighted student artwork since 1982, with winning pieces displayed at the U.S. Capitol for one year.
Students can submit their artwork through Fischbach’s office, where a panel of local artists will select a district winner. The chosen student will be recognized both locally and at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C.
Interested students should:
• Confirm their district’s participation by contacting their representative’s office.
• Review the 2025 competition rules for students and teachers.
• Complete and submit a Student Release Form along with their artwork before the deadline.
