Lakes Area Farmers Market Launches Indoor Winter Markets

Recognizing the challenges of operating outdoors during Minnesota’s harsh winters, the Lakes Area Farmers Market has initiated indoor markets to continue supporting local vendors and the community. These markets are held on the first Saturday of each month during the winter season. The first indoor market was hosted by Bucks Mill Brewing, located at 824 Washington Ave., Detroit Lakes, on March 1st from 11 AM to 2 PM.
To celebrate this new venture, a special pint night event was organized on February 27th from 5 PM to 8 PM at Bucks Mill Brewing, allowing the community to engage with local vendors and enjoy craft beverages.
The indoor markets aim to provide a warm and welcoming environment for both vendors and customers, ensuring continued access to local products year-round. Community members are encouraged to attend these monthly events to support local businesses and enjoy the diverse offerings.
