Texas Woman Killed in Head-On Crash on Highway 75, Moorhead Man Charged

A 43-year-old Texas woman is dead after a head-on crash on Highway 75 in Clay County on Saturday evening, February 22. Christopher Thomas Pink, 28, of Moorhead has been arrested and charged with negligent homicide and driving under the influence, with authorities suspecting alcohol played a role.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Pink was driving northbound in the southbound lane near mile marker 254 in Oakport Township when his 2007 Toyota Tundra collided head-on with a 2022 Jeep Compass driven by Jennifer Elizabeth Watson of Ennis, Texas.
Watson sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Pink was uninjured and taken into custody. Officials say road conditions were dry at the time of the crash, and the investigation is ongoing.
Clay County authorities urge drivers to stay alert and drive responsibly to prevent further tragedies.
