Northwest Water Carnival Accepting Event Submissions for 2025

One of Detroit Lakes’ biggest summer traditions is already in the works! The 89th Annual Northwest Water Carnival, organized by the Detroit Lakes Jaycees, is now accepting event submissions for this year’s celebration, set to take place July 11-20, 2025.
Local businesses, organizations, and community members are invited to submit their ideas for events, whether it’s a new competition, performance, or family-friendly activity. This is an opportunity to add fresh, exciting elements to the weeklong festival that draws thousands to the lakes area every year.
The deadline for submissions is February 25, 2025. Anyone interested can send their ideas to DLWaterCarnival@gmail.com for consideration.
