The Fergus Falls Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a runaway teenager. Authorities say 15-year-old Payton Aune voluntarily ran away on Tuesday, January 28th, while with relatives. He has not been seen since.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office and Fergus Falls Police continue their search efforts today. Officials have not released further details but are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Payton, who was listed on the 9th Grade B Honor Roll at Fergus Falls Public Schools last year, is well-known in the local school community.
