The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department is alerting residents to a new phone scam involving a caller impersonating law enforcement.
Several residents have reported receiving phone messages from someone claiming to be Lieutenant Greg Seim of the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office. The caller requests a callback about a confidential legal matter, but officials confirm this is a scam.
Lt. Seim is a member of the Sheriff’s Office but has not made any such calls.
