By Trish Johnson Jan 16, 2025 | 8:47 AM

Residents, contractors, and realtors now have an easier way to access permit information in Otter Tail County with the launch of a new Permit View feature on the County’s Geographic Information System (GIS) map.
This enhancement allows users to review permits issued as far back as the 1970s, along with all current permits, directly on the GIS map. The new function covers various permits, including shoreland permits, variance permits, and septic permits, making it faster and more convenient to find critical information.
“With this new feature, we’re providing easy access to information,” said Chris LeClair, Otter Tail County’s Land and Resource Director. “Whether you’re a resident, contractor, or realtor, this tool saves time and streamlines services.”
