Project 412 Brings Back Hot Dish Microgranting Dinner in Detroit Lakes

By Trish Johnson Jan 14, 2025 | 6:46 AM

Project 412 is serving up its popular Hot Dish Microgranting Dinner again this year, offering a unique opportunity for locals to share their creative ideas for building community—and to win funding to bring those ideas to life!
Here’s how it works:
• Submit your idea online at project412mn.org/hotdish by February 9.
• Selected finalists will present their ideas during the dinner on February 24 at Bucks Mill Brewing from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
• No tech needed—just bring your story and passion.
Attendees will pay $5 at the door, enjoy delicious hotdish, and vote for their favorite idea. The winner takes all door proceeds to kickstart their project!
Why Participate?
• Gain feedback and support from the community.
• Receive brainstorming and marketing support from the Project 412 team.
• Winners will also get one-on-one coaching sessions to help launch their idea.
Need inspiration? Past ideas have included community gardens, youth leadership workshops, art festivals, and book clubs.
