Police in Grand Forks are investigating a shooting that sent two people to the hospital late Friday night. Officers responded to the Ramada Hotel just before 11 p.m. after gunfire was reported in the parking lot. Two individuals were injured and drove themselves to Altru Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say two people tried to flee the scene but were quickly detained. One of them has been arrested on charges of attempted murder. Police believe the individuals involved knew each other, and there’s no ongoing threat to the public.
