Detroit Lakes Public Schools will offer winter sports clinics for students starting in early January. The clinics, which will focus on sports such as basketball, swimming, and volleyball, are designed to allow students to hone their skills during the winter break.
Sports coaches will lead the clinics, offering training in both beginner and advanced techniques. Students will have the chance to meet new friends while staying active during the colder months.
Director of Youth Activities, Kyle Anderson, said, “It’s important for students to stay active during the winter months, and we’re excited to offer these clinics to help them improve in various sports. We encourage parents to get their kids involved and take advantage of this great opportunity.”
