County Commissioner Lee Rogness has been awarded the 2024 Outstanding Service Award by the Association of Minnesota Counties.
This prestigious honor recognizes Rogness’s leadership, innovation, and dedication to county government throughout his impactful career. Known for his calm demeanor and collaborative approach, Rogness has served on numerous community boards and AMC committees, contributing to statewide recognition for Otter Tail County.
The award was presented on December 10 during the AMC Annual Awards Luncheon. Commissioner Rogness, who will retire at the end of his term, will pass the torch to Commissioner-Elect Sean Sullivan.
A public retirement celebration will be held on December 17 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Government Services Center in Fergus Falls. The community is invited to honor his remarkable service.
