The Laker girls’ hockey team won their third consecutive victory on Tuesday night, defeating the Morris-Benson Storm with a score of 5-0. Having previously beaten International Falls and Worthington in the past week, the Lakers dominated the Storm throughout the game, outshooting them 42-9.
Kaydence Thorsteinson scored two of the five goals for the Lakers, while Hadley Songstad, Izzy Mariotti, and Aurora Jabas each contributed one goal. Talyn Anderson picked up her third shutout of the season, helping the Lakers improve their record to 3-6.
Next, Detroit Lakes will travel to take on the Crookston Pirates on Thursday night.
