The United Way of Becker County has much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving week! Their recent Baked Potato Fundraiser raised $3,364 for the Boys & Girls Club of Detroit Lakes.
Executive Director Pat Peterman expressed gratitude to everyone who made the event successful, including staff, volunteers, and the many community members and businesses who showed up on November 15. Peterman shared, “I saw so many of our partner programs, area businesses, and friends. It wouldn’t have been a success without all of you.”
The funds will go toward supporting the Boys & Girls Club and its mission to serve youth in the community. It’s a heartwarming reminder of the power of community support during this season of giving.
