Other Situations Local Law Enforcement Faced in the Last Week

A caller reported that someone in a camper was stealing their electricity at a property on Robin Street, Audubon. Law enforcement made contact with the person in the camper, who was informed that it is against city ordinance to reside in the camper.

 

 A juvenile stole a breakfast burrito from a South Lake Street, Frazee, business. The juvenile returned later with a parent and paid for the item.

 

 An Osage caller reported a scam call in which the scammer was impersonating Becker County Dispatch. The person hung up and did not share any personal information.

A Lake Park caller reported a phone scam in which the scammer was pretending to be from the Becker County Sheriff’s Office. The scammer knew the Lake Park caller’s address and tried to give them a court date. The Lake Park resident hung up and did not give the scammer any personal information

 

A porta-potty was reported stolen from a construction site on Mission Road, Ogema.
