An online GoFundMe campaign has raised over $8,300 to support the family of Detroit Lakes missionary Beau Shroyer, who was killed in Angola on October 25. Organized by his sister, the fundraiser seeks to reach a $15,000 goal to cover funeral costs and legal fees.
Beau, 44, had moved to Angola three years ago with his wife, Jackie, and their five children as part of SIM USA’s mission to share the Gospel and assist impoverished communities. Angolan authorities have accused Jackie of orchestrating his murder, and she remains in custody.
