Here’s some exciting news for Detroit Lakes that’s as hearty as it is community-focused.**
Project 412 is firing up its “Hot Dish” microgranting dinner for November 18 at Bucks Mill Brewing. This unique event has gathered some creative minds, each ready to pitch ideas to make a difference in Detroit Lakes. Attendees will hear from finalists Christine Becker, Kathryn Hoffmann-Thompson, Grace Davidson-Thooft, and Kim Bettcher from the DLCCC, and Sarah Schacht. Each finalist will present their project, and here’s the twist: after hearing these pitches, the audience votes for the most inspiring idea.
The winning idea takes home all the money collected at the door to jump-start their project, along with expert support from Project 412.
