A Minnesotan home cook has won Campbell’s holiday side dish recipe contest with a unique twist: Everything Quiche. Campbell’s, known for its Cream of Mushroom Soup, held a nationwide contest asking for holiday side dishes, promising the winning recipe a spot on their iconic soup cans. Crystal, a cook from Minnesota, took top honors with her creative “Everything Quiche” recipe.
The dish, featuring roasted green beans, mushrooms, onions, and Cream of Mushroom Soup mixed with eggs and cream cheese, is topped with panko, everything bagel seasoning, and green onions. Judges evaluated entries on originality, story, appeal, and how well they aligned with Campbell’s brand. After narrowing down to 10 finalists, the panel taste-tested each dish, ultimately choosing Crystal’s quiche. Minnesotans will see her winning recipe printed on Cream of Mushroom Soup cans starting in November.
