The Minnesota Milk Producers Association has announced Doris Mold as the recipient of the 2024 Bruce Cottington Friend of Dairy Award. Mold, the founder of the iconic Moo Booth at the Minnesota State Fair, has been a long-time advocate for dairy education and agriculture. Since launching the Moo Booth in 1991, she has connected millions of people to agriculture, educating visitors about where their food comes from.
In addition to her work at the Moo Booth, Mold has been an influential leader through her involvement in 4-H, FFA, and the Women’s Agricultural Leadership Conference. Her dedication to mentoring young people and supporting women in agriculture has made a lasting impact.
Minnesota Milk will officially present the award to Mold at its annual meeting on February 4, 2025, followed by Dairy Day at the Capitol on February 5.
