The Laker football team was eliminated from the playoffs following a 28-20 loss to the Little Falls Flyers on Tuesday night. Detroit Lakes held the lead until about nine minutes remained in the fourth quarter when Little Falls took their first lead of the game. The Lakers were unable to reclaim the lead, ending their season with an overall record of 5-4. With this victory, the Flyers advance to the section semifinals, where they will face the top-seeded Becker Bulldogs on Saturday at 1 PM.
