By Trish Johnson Oct 8, 2024 | 7:37 AM

Minnesota’s Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) is now accepting applications for the Clean Water Legacy Partners Program, offering $2.7 million in grants aimed at improving water quality across the state. Eligible applicants include Tribal governments, nonprofit organizations, and watershed districts.

BWSR Executive Director John Jaschke noted that the grants will help expand water protection efforts, including projects like stormwater management, shoreline stabilization, and public engagement. Grant requests must be between $50,000 and $250,000, with at least a 10% non-state match required.

Applications are open now and close on January 7, 2025. For more information, visit BWSR’s website.
