The **United Way of Becker County** will host its **2024 Community Celebration** on **Thursday, Sept. 19**, from **4:30-6:30 p.m.** at the **Detroit Lakes Pavilion**. The event offers a free meal, including Sloppy Joes and beverages, and features a performance by the **Detroit Lakes High School Drum Line** at **5 p.m**. Attendees can learn about local services from United Way’s 30 partner programs, enjoy **inflatable games** for kids, and view “Hero Vehicles” from local law enforcement and rescue personnel. Door prizes and **14 new bikes** will be given away.
