Hawley Nuggets Move to 2-1 Following Victory Over Roseau

The Hawley Nuggets hosted the Roseau Rams on Friday September 13th. The Nuggets received the opening Kickoff and scored a few2 plays later on a 57yd Rushing TD by QB Noah Nelson. Hawley added Touchdowns from Lincoln Midthun, a Noah Nelson pass to Zak Libak, another 15yd TD run by Nelson, another Midthun run of 9yds and a 27yd pass from Noah Nelson to Lincoln Midthun to cap off a 35-0 Halftime lead. Roseau did start the 2^nd half with a 70yd TD on the opening Kickoff by Jacob Borowicz, with Borowicz adding an early 4^th quarter 1yd TD to give Roseau their 16 points. Hawley, with their second string in, capped the game with a 1yd Colton Klages TD to give Hawley their 50-16 victory. Hawley moves to 2-1 and welcomes in 3-0 Barnesville on Friday 9/20/24 at 7pm on KRCQ, Real Country 102.3. Sophomore Lincoln Midthun was named the Muscatell Burns Ford MVP of the game.
