Brian Keith Vasquez, 43, of Brooklyn Center, had felony drug charges dismissed in Becker County District Court. Vasquez was a passenger in a rental car stopped for speeding on June 11, 2023, on Highway 10. The rental agreement did not list either occupant, and a K9 unit alerted to drugs in the vehicle.
A search revealed over 1,000 grams of marijuana, THC products, and more than 40 grams of psilocybin. While the driver was also charged, the charges against Vasquez were dropped on June 24, as he is already in the custody of the Department of Corrections until 2027 for an unrelated matter.
